Kaitlyn & Jake - Watagans Pine Forrest Engagement Session

Kaitlyn and Jake are truly an awesome couple and 100% made for each other.

Almost like bread and butter.

Or hot chips and tomato sauce.

Or in this case, an afternoon picnic with cheese and wine in the Watagan State Forrest.

When we started planning Kaitlyn & Jake's engagement photo shoot, we knew we wanted to make it unique for them. As they both love a good picnic whilst exploring different places, we settled on The Pines picnic area in the Watagan State Forrest. It's a beautiful spot for a bush walk and a picnic, and the afternoon light streaming through the trees is a photographer's dream!

Kaitlyn set up a beautiful little picnic along with a few drinks, which they somewhat enjoyed before a bush turkey decided to treat itself ;) I often have a few couples poses up my sleeve to pull out if needed, but these guys were on a roll. They knew that having fun and enjoying each other's company was their priority, and embraced the engagement photo shoot head-on. We had a ball spending the afternoon together talking about everything and anything. It was like we'd known each other for years!

These legends will be getting hitched this year at the beautiful Heaven Gardens at Salt Ash for a Port Stephens Wedding. I can't wait for their big day to come around, as I know it's going to be full of laughs and awesome moments.
